How often should air filters be cleaned?
To maintain optimal system performance and indoor air quality, Aurashu recommends checking and cleaning air filters every one to three months, depending on the environment and system load. In clean or air-conditioned environments, quarterly maintenance may be sufficient; however, in dusty, humid, or industrial settings, monthly or even biweekly cleaning is advised. Regular filter maintenance prevents airflow obstruction, reduces energy consumption, and extends the lifespan of compressors and fans.
When cleaning, gently remove the filters and use low-pressure air blowing or rinsing with mild detergent and water, ensuring they are fully dried before reinstalling. If filters appear damaged, deformed, or cannot be cleaned effectively, they should be replaced immediately with genuine Aurashu parts to maintain filtration efficiency.
Aurashu also recommends scheduling a professional inspection every 6–12 months to assess filter conditions, airflow balance, and overall system performance, ensuring continuous, reliable operation.
